Today's Homework

  1. Design a musical instrument and make a list of the material and equipment you will need to make it. This should be done in your Musical Instrument Project leaflet. Draw, label and colour a picture of the instrument you would like to make. It must be a percussion instrument and should be designed for children in Y1 so it needs to be easy to use, tough and attractive. Do NOT make the instrument yet!

Today's Homework

  1. Daily Maths 5 - the little coin that you can't really see is a 20p coin. You just need to write the different combinations you can make; you don't need to write the totals.
  2. Science experiments:
  • Answer the question about the children using the string telephone. If you make one yourself it might be easier to answer. If it's a nice one, bring it to school on Saturday.
  • Fill in the chart about the water bottle musical instruments. You have to do this one yourself to get the results because you need to test the different sounds. You don't need to bring this one to school!
