Today's Homework

  1. Daily Maths 1
  2. Wordsearch - this is the one from ICT. Remember, it belongs to someone else so please look after it.
  3. Writing - This is different for different groups so CONCENTRATE:
North and West - Letts, page 18 questions 1 & 3. The questions are about verbs
South and East - Key Comprehension, page 36. Questions about the story we discussed in class.

Both of those writing pieces should be done in the writing book. All homework to be given in tomorrow.

Today's Homework

  1. Daily Maths 4
  2. Write a 'Happy Family' type story. Remember the plan that we went through in class; you could have a problem that is repeated and then resolved. There should be simple words, short sentences and a happy ending. If you're not sure what to do, we'll go over the plan again tomorrow and you can do it at the weekend. NB THIS HOMEWORK IS TO GIVE IN ON SATURDAY!

Today's Homework

  1. Daily Maths 1 - Write the time shown on the clocks, in words
  2. Learn your spellings - this week is past tense verbs
  3. Write about 7 important parts of the body - you need to make a chart or table in the topic book. Choose a body part, maybe an organ, and write what problems could occur, especially when you get older. Then, write what we can do to fix any problems or avoid problems occurring at all. This could be: eating certain foods, doing specific things (eg exercise) or even avoiding certain things. As much detail as possible please.
